Pierogies and sauteed asparagus

Simple Pierogies recipe:

This simple Potato Mushroom Cheese Pirogies and fresh sauteed Asparagus was my choice for one fine evening home-made-dinner.  I did not make this Pierogies, but I bought it in Costco.



Well, instead of boiling the Pierogies, I did this for cooking the Pierogies:
  •  I used 1-2 tbsp canola oil on the hot pan
  • Put the Pierogies and add 1 cup of water in the pan and close the lid, then let the Pierogies cooked with the steam from the hot boiled water.  While the hot oil will make the Pierogies' wrap a bit golden-brownies in some spot. Once in a while open the lid and stir them slowly to make the whole Pierogies evenly cooked.
While waiting for the Potato-Mushroom-Cheese Pierogies being cooked, I prepared fresh sauteed Asparagus, with only 1 tbsp Canola oil, and a pinch of salt.  Only took about 5 minutes to make them crunchy! :)
