This easy and simple stir fry noodles Recipe or Rice Stick Noodles recipe is yummy and tasty. We can also make stir fry Chicken with noodles or rice stick. This easy fried noodles recipe, most of you would be able to make it. You can change noodles with rice stick or big noodles or Mungbean stick. Any kind of stir fry noodles is one of popular menu in Asian dishes.

How to make Stir Fry Noodles:

This stir fry noodles is just like Cantonese noodles. You may see the ingredients in the picture below:
  • Noodles or Rice Stick Noodles any brand (your favorite). Boil first before cooking and drain it. Put them aside. 
  • Bokcoy or Yuchoy or other Chinese Green Leaves (cut, wash and drain)
  • Carrots and Corn (slice in small pieces) cut, wash and drain
  • Bean sprout (optional)
  • Fish tofu, Squibb tofu, meatballs, shrimp
    or any kind of meat you like, chopped.
  • 2-3 cloves of minced garlic
  • Sweet soy sauce, salt, pepper, and fish sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp Canola oil to fry garlic and other raw ingredients
  • Salt and Pepper

  • Stir fry the meat and raw ingredients all at once with medium heat, with canola oil. Use the oil wisely. Do not use a lot of oil. 1 or 2 tablespoon is enough. Stir fry until the meat well done.
  • After the raw ingredients well cooked, add minced garlic. Stir fry until you smell the aroma of cooked garlic. Wait until the garlic well cooked before adding noodles/rice stick.
  • add well-dried Noodles or Rice stick and stir them together. 
  • add sweet soy sauce, salt, pepper, and 1-2 tbsp fish sauce

  • Stir them well until the color of sweet soy sauce mixed perfectly. Then add the final ingredients, e.i: the veggies and optional carrots or corn.  Stir them a bit but not too long. 

Tips when cooking Fried Noodles:

  • Raw ingredients such as Eggs, Shrimps, etc MUST be completely cooked or well done, otherwise, the left-over noodles will smell awful or fishy/foul on the next day.
  • When boiling noodles or rice stick, do not forget to put 1-2 tablespoon of clean cooking oil and 1 teaspoon of Salt in the boiling water. Otherwise, it won't taste delicious. If you want more tasty noodles, you may add the Salt based on your taste. Some people like salty food.
  • Noodles, Rice stick and other vegetables MUST be completely DRY. Dry them well with strainer before putting them in the wok. "Wet" noodles/rice sticks noodles will make fried noodles a bit "watery" and will affect the taste. Believe me :)
