Egg Tofu with Shrimp |
Japanese Egg Tofu with Shrimps is another fast dish that I used to make when I got stuck with the idea of daily cooking. It is very simple because only use garlic, and only needs 20 minutes time to prepare this delicious dish.
Egg Tofu Recipe with Shrimps:
- 1 piece of Japanese Egg Tofu
- Peeled Shrimps, cut into pieces
- Minced Garlic
- Green onions
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp Canola Oil
- 1-2 cups of water
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
Cooking Process:
- Put Canola Oil in the hot pan and cook the shrimps first. Make sure that the shrimps are properly cooked, otherwise it will smell fishy when you keep it in the refrigerator (left-over dish).
- After it's done with the shrimps, put the minced garlic and stir it well.
- add the water, salt, pepper and Oyster Sauce.
- Finally, put the Egg Tofu into the saucepan and split or break them softly into smaller pieces.
- If you want a "bit" thicker sauce, you may add 1-2 teaspoon Cornstarch that has been dissolved with 1/4 cup of water.
- Add Sesame Oil (must be added at final step, since sesame oil's aroma will be stronger in a hot cooking and not in the beginning cooking process). At last, do not forget to put the chopped Green Onions as garnish.
