Gyoza |
Fried Dumplings recipes have some varieties like Gyoza or Wotie or Kuotie in Chinese dishes. This time, I made Gyoza with packed wrapper. For snacking, you can pan-fry the Gyoza and crave the dishes with chili sauce or soy sauce like in Sushi or Sashimi soy sauce. However, you can also boil this delicious dumplings and eat this Wotie with clear soup like Chicken Broth or Chicken Soup.
How to make Dumplings:
250 gr Ground Chicken or Ground Pork1 pack of dumplings wrapper (you can find it in Asian Grocery)
some Coriander leafs or Cilantro (optional)
Salt, Pepper
1 tbsp of Soy Sauce and 1 tbsp of Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Corn Flour
1 Egg, beaten (to attach the wrap)
Making Gyoza
Mix all the ingredients well, and wrap. You may use fork to patch the wrappers and use the Egg as "glue". For Gyoza : put the dumplings on the hot frying pan with 2 tbsp of Canola Oil. After the wrap brownish, add 1/2 cup of water and close the lid to make them well done. The process of cooking Gyoza, just as same as cooking Perogies.

Tips : Sesame Oil and Coriander will make the aroma of Gyoza nice and to "coat"
the meat's smell.
